Had a great day yesterday playing soccer in school with the 4e6 gang. Didn't had such fun in a while. Was great having their company again. Thanks. :D "How to play soccer like a Hypebeast"

Head down to town after that for Botak Jones with baby and her colleagues and took 174 home after that.

I'm free now. Not in a way i want to be though.

I am not a hypebeast. DO NOT label me as one. Wearing a pair of expensive jeans and a pair of cheap nice sneakers does not make me one.

Anyway, kinda disappointed that although I am freeing up time to spend time with my friends , they are always busy with their stuffs. Whatever happened to the good old lines of "brother". Lol. Not that i did not see this coming anyway.

Shall end here and go to bed already. If not i would not wake up for school tomorrow again. Nights.

4th month.

Nights all. tired and work tomorrow.

I woke up in the middle of 3am to find me not being able to move any parts of my body. I can't even open my eye lids. I was so afraid i started uttering prayer verses. And after that was said, i started regaining control of my muscles.

Scary lo.

So it’s the New Year already. Been procrastinating about blogging about it for quite a while as you can see. I apologize to all my readers okay. Haha. Before going on to talk about my 2009, I would like to go through my 2008 with you guys again.

2008 had been the busiest year I have gone through up till now. Mainly because I was juggling work and studies at the same time. Shall highlight some events worth mentioning through this year and thank those who made my year wonderful.

First of all would be the start of my tertiary education. Some of you might not know but I failed the o levels the first time I took it in 2006. Appealed to re take it again in 2007. Manage to scrape a pass for my subjects this time round and I got into Republic Polytechnic pursuing a diploma of Biomedical Electronics. (Or engineering. Couldn’t remember.) . Am of course happy with this as I didn’t let the people around me down by failing again. Although this was not a course that I am interested in at all.

Pretty interesting people I met in school during my first semester’s class. It is always fun having to know new friends. Still remember all the fun we had during lessons in the first semester. I bet this would be the most memorable class I have in RP as I heard from others that the first class is always the most memorable compared to the rest. So, thank you W45Q.

Second semester was rather quiet compared to the first semester. I admit it might be due to my part on not choosing to blend in much with the class. But there are some personalities I didn’t really like in class. So I apologize to you guys for not feeling me as much around in class. I hope the last 2 remaining weeks with guys would bring me some good memories as well. Thanks in advance W45P.

Of course there are some people whom I met out of class. From neighboring classes, forum mates to smoking buddies. They too contributed to the fun I had in my first year. Thank you guys as well.

Last but not least, before I end of this school section, I would like to mention about my BFF as well. As known as Goh Feng Guang. He is currently a second year student in RP. With him around in school, it certainly beats having just school mates. You see, he is more than a RP school mate to me. We have known each other 4? 5 years? And we share a close relationship with each other as we could understand each other well. Be it a simple gesture to show how we feel or to more complicated things such as boy girl relationships. So thank you BFF.

Alright. With that wall of text I end the school part already ok. Next would be the working days I spent during my holidays or every single weekend. As some of you guys whom worked before in a department store would know that it is such a bore working in a politics involved place. But if you have fun colleagues to work with, it will never be a bore.

Few individuals like David, Yori, and May. Always brightens up my working days. They care for me as much as a family member. And we are always laughing around at each other’s silly jokes. So thank you to such wonderful colleagues as well.

Next wouldn’t be an event but rather someone special to me. Which is my girlfriend Doreen. This had been a year of ups and downs for us. With so many fights and arguments. Yet we are still together after this whole year. She is one who played a large part in my year. Without her the year will definitely be a bore. Thank you Doreen.

Last but not least, my group of buddies. They are always a fun bunch to hang around. Although slowly some are drifting apart from the current group, there are still some like Thomas, Wei Zhuang and Feng Guang who always make an effort to turn up. Have to say that I am quite disappointed with the ones who did not turn up for the Christmas’ eve and New Year’s Eve. But nevertheless, the times when they turn up are always good quality time spent joking around with each other. Sincerely thank you all of my buddies.

Now that almost sums up year 2008 for me. But before I move on to year 2009 and the resolutions I have made, I would like to share an experience I had on the noon of New Year’s Eve. I was on the afternoon shift that day and Doreen came over to house area to have breakfast with me. After which we board the bus to town. As the journey was a long one, she fell asleep by the time we were at Clementi area. While the bus was turning towards the expressway, it stopped by a traffic light for quite a period of time. Beside the traffic light was a big canal. Being bored I look out of the window in the direction of a canal. I still remember the skies were grey because of rain clouds. And out of the sky came this huge brown bird gliding across the horizon. Slowly making its descent towards the calm water. It started gathering speed and off it went into the water and appearing again with a fish between its talons. Then I started to wonder myself, how good will life be as an eagle. Living a serene life with nothing to worry except to dive into water for raw sashimi when I am hungry. So from this incident, I made my New Year resolutions. To have an untroubled and free year for 2009.

1. Always have enough sleep – I get pissed off easily when I do not have enough sleep all the time. So, get I will try to get more sleep this year.
2. Spare myself more time that I am able to spend doing the things I choose to do – I have always wanted more time that I can spend doing things I like. Such as playing soccer or hanging around with my friends in town till late.
3. Resolve the conflicts I am facing in my family – Had not really been a good year for me and my dad as we face various misunderstanding. Thus we have not spoken to each other for more than half a year. Other than that would also like to stop the “on – off “relationships with my mum and sister.
4. Work hard for the things I want – I have always want to own all the nice kicks, shirts or jeans. So this year I hope I will still be able to get them through working hard.
5. Have a tighter control over the way I spend my money – Yes, I know this contradicts with my point above. But the main point is, spend wisely instead of recklessly on impulse.
6. Be punctual – Friends and colleagues know how late I would be for appointments or work. Will try to change this bad habit.
7. Peaceful relationships with Doreen and my close friends – Conflicts are never welcomed. To stand by my untroubled and free year, I would do my best to manage these conflicts wisely.

With these resolutions, I will stop blogging. And wish all readers a joyous 2009 to come. Good luck. To those I missed out , thank you as well.
