night safari!
went out with zk,wz,zyme and jh yesterday. supposingly we wanted to go to the zoo. so met at 2 and zy was late. went to cck and it started to rain ma. so we slacked in the arcade. and wanted to eat sakae as it was raining ma. so can't go to the zoo already. but zhangkai eventually decided that we should still go to the zoo.
accompanied them to eat ljs then proceeeded to take the bus to the zoo. when we reached there. found out that the zoo closes at 6! we have less then an hour to walk the whole zoo ma. so we decided not to go to the zoo but the night safari instead. so we slacked outside the zoo for more then 2 hours+. while in KFC zhiyong was being really gay. i can't stand it. it's strange why there's still this girl who is jio-ing him. haha!
7.30 went to bought the tickets for night safari. there are alot of counters la. but we all wanted to queue for this chiobu's counter. :x she quite chio man. then we see other counters empty but we just queue for her counter. until this spoiler from the counter beside asked us if she could help us. then bo bian lo. dont expect us to say "no thanks. we waiting for this chio bu's counter." so we went over. bought 5 tickets at 20 each. we did not take the tram ride one because we think it's not worth ma. but after walking the whole night safari trip i think it's more worth to walk la. just that you can't see elephants and lions.
went in to carry on with our walk. started on with mousedeers! they look as big as dosmestic cats. and they have really tiny legs. that's why they are such easy prey la. then walk walk walk to what they claimed to be fishing cats. ok so i saw only one fishing cat. but it's just walking around going nothing. haha. then got this indian gharial ar. it's crocodie la. but the stout is very thin, thus cannot eat big prey. only small fishes. saw 4 of them. just lying in the water doing nothing. at first i saw 3. because cannot see the 4th when it is right infront of me. damn good camoflauge. then there is the hyena. zk suggested i laugh like the striped hyena. since i always laugh hysterically. -_- k la i admit. i laugh in a strange way rah.
proceed to see other animals. reach the leopard's glass enclosure ar. then me and zk squatted infront of it. then the leopard turn to us and made some calls la. then being the naughty zk, he imitated the leopard's calls. the the leopard turned and lick the glass infront of us. so scary la. the head so big. tongue so big. then come face and lick the glass. then i move back. rofl. then there was this otter along this trail. that we looked at it for 10 mintues? because zk insists that the otter will climb up against the water fall and slide down. -.- a good waste of time there.
next, we entered the mangrove walk ar. it's a open air area for bats. harmless fruit bats la :D then we all went in. then it was really a close encounter with the bats. they are in such a close distance to you where you can touch them. but i did not la. -_- dirty ar. next open air enclousure is the giant flying squirrel one. my god. i have never in my life seen squirrels that big which can grow up to 1.3m man. but the ones we saw are not that big la. they are around 1m long? we hesistate going into this one as the sign reads that the squirrel will be angry when provoked. then zhangkai with us ma. we damn scared. because zhangkai will disturb the squirrels for sure. rofl. but we went in and saw te squirrels. quite cute la. but the thought that it will be angry when provoked we quite scary. lol.
next we reached a spot where we could see the upper seletar reservoir. it is a isolated corner with benches . you over look the reservoir and you can see the stars and the beautiful reflection of the trees from the glass like water. it's a completely stunning sight man. and it would be perfect if i have that some one i needed with me there. that's a recommended spot in night safari! for couples only :x and next the animal i wanted to see the most. giraffe. i thought they would be waking around eating and licking their own mouth. i want see their tongue how long ma. rofl. but they ended up sitting more then 50 metres away not even looking at me. :( ok la. nvm. still got zebras and scimitar-orned oryx.
walk walk walk. and walked pass a few large boulders which junhong claimed to be boulders. -.- saw some mountain pigs. haha. but there are no pigs. they are boars ba. spotted hyenas here. and next the tiger. the tiger was really big. if it was to stand , i guess it will be taller then me. it's head is also very big la. when we reached can hear the tiger calling. i doubt it's roaring. realise we missed hippos. so mis traced our steps. and reach the boulder junhong claimed to be. and the boulders started walking. -.-. so those are the hippos. whatthefuck man junhong! walked back to the entrance. we wanted to catch the animal show. but it was full. so we waited for the 10 pm show la.
10pm we went to the creatures of the night show. the host is damn irritating -.- and got fu hua chio bu sit beside junhong. one whole roll of them. haha maybe not chio la. how i know. i dont see girls one. haha! the show started. got owls,wolves,hyenas,otters, owls,snakes and the binturong ar. the otters part damn funny la. naughty otters. show ended. was very tired already man. 2 days no sleep you know! and i can walk night safari with them :D so took bus to cck and train-ed to boonlay.
reached boonlay. this fucking bus driver. saw me chasing the bus and zk behind me. he dont want to stop. the last person board the he immediately close the door and sped off. a true fucker man. so nvm. we waited for the next bus. on the bus there was this couple infront of us. ! wtf ! everywhere i go i see couples. is it just me or wad. fuck. reach home baths, used com awhile and slept.
finally a long and decent entry. only lacking pictures. :\ ahh! blog skin still sucks and lazy to continue.
